Itinerary Sketch | Paris & Champagne
Wednesday, June 3 | Fly
You'll leave late in the day from Portland, transfer at LAX, and then take an upgraded flight directly to Paris. Island vibes on Air Tahiti add a lovely layer of whimsy.
Thursday, June 4 | Arrive
Arrive in the morning and head to your hotel. They may not be able to check you in right away. I often recommend a short, fun orientation tour while you wait. Once you get settled, head out for whatever Eiffel Tower experience sounds good, whether it be views from afar or from the top.
Friday, June 5 | Left Bank Vibe
After a coffee and croissant, head to the Musée d'Orsay. Then, wander along the Seine and detour to the Île de la Cité and Notre-Dame if you'd like. The evening includes delicious wine and food in Saint-Germain. You're in Paris, baby!
Saturday, June 6 | Versailles
Spend the day in Versailles, take in the palace and grounds, and then stay for the Night Fountain Show. Return to Paris for the night.
Sunday, June 7 | Épernay Day Trip
After a late night, Sunday can start a little slowly. Sleep in and then take the train out to Épernay for a day among the grand maisons of the Avenue de Champagne. Stay for dinner and catch a late train back to Paris.
Monday, June 8 | Louvre + Crazy Horse
The Louvre is open on Mondays, unlike many other major Paris museums, so let’s capitalize on that. Spend however much of the the day you'd like there and then explore Paris until you're ready to take a break. After a hotel refresh, head out for a modern ode to beauty at the Crazy Horse.
Sunday, June 7 | Muses
After a late night, Sunday should start a little slowly. Sleep in. Find a café, grab a metro train to Montmartre for some excellent art history. After a hotel refresh, head to the Crazy Horse for a modern ode to beauty.
Wednesday, June 10 | Depart
No plans. Enjoy a calm morning, pack up, and head to the airport when you're ready.
